We have received many inquiries as to the results of the Name The Famous Michigan Steer Contest. Information received from Luke Schafer, the Farm Bureau contact person, was that they had over 3000 entries and was in the process of mailing out cards to everyone who entered advising them that they had a lot to go through to choose a winner. Today, the below post card was received:

Thanks for your entry in the Name the Famous Michigan Steer Contest. Due to an overwhelming response, the announcement of the winning name had been moved back. Our judging is almost complete and the winning name will be announced at a news conference by early September. The final results will be posted on our website right after the new conference (farmbureauinsurance-mi.com). You will also receive a letter listing the winning names and finalists.
