How to Measure
We Need Wrist Size — Not Bracelet Size!
Get the perfect fit for your paracord bracelet by following the instructions on this page. Remember, we need to know your wrist size — not your bracelet size — there is a big difference! The paracord artisan has made thousands of paracord bracelets and knows how to create your bracelet so that it fits comfortably. She will add the necessary length to your wrist size to ensure your bracelet will fit properly. But first you need to take a moment to get the right measurement.
Do not add extra room to compensate for a comfortable fit.
Extra room is taken into consideration when making your paracord bracelet to ensure your bracelet will fit properly. If you add more length than what the actual measurement indicates, you will have a bracelet that is more than likely too big/loose for your liking. According to how tightly or how loosely you measured your wrist will indicate how your bracelet should fit. We are not responsible for any sizing errors!
Measuring Instructions for Paracord Bracelets
First, you’ll need a ruler, a pen or pencil and a piece a piece of paper about a half inch wide.
Wrap the piece of paper lightly around your wrist.
Mark the piece of paper right were it meets the starting point.
Then measure that length on a ruler. Now you know what size to order! We offer paracord items in 1/2″ increments. If you have a wrist measurement that falls between these increments (for example, 6 1/4″ or 7 5/8″), please round up to the nearest half inch. (6 1/4″ –> 6 1/2″) Remember, paracord will shrink if it gets wet.
NOTE: The size that your ordered will be the actual braided area of the finished bracelet. The loop and button is not part of the measurement. The bracelet shown below fits a size 7 1/2″ wrist, but the actual measurement from end to end is about 8 3/4″.
