The paracord survival bracelet is made out of this 550 paracord. In an emergency situation, you can unravel the survival bracelet and deploy the paracord for use. Each bracelet has between 8 and 10 feet of military spec paracord, depending on the size. The 550 paracord has 7 inner strands which have a 50 lb. tensile strength. The outer sheath is rated at 200 lbs.
The paracord bracelet is fashioned by weaving the paracord together to make the survival bracelet that is then secured with a looped end and a military uniform button.
