 Our Cherokee Trail Of Tears jewelry incorporates this beautiful, shiny black bean with red coral and sterling silver beads, clasps, and earwires. This seed’s poignant history is that it was carried by the Cherokee along the Trail Of Tears, their infamous forced trek from their homeland in Georgia to resettlement in Oklahoma during the winter of 1838-39. We most humbly offer this jewelry in honor of the over 4,000 men, women, and children who perished along the way. |
