Hand Illustrated Carolinas Lighthouse Note Cards by Gail Borgman McGuire. The Carolina lighthouses were damaged during the Civil War, some were even shelled by German submarines during World War II. Today there are 18 lighthouses along the Carolina coast still standing. These lighthouses have served well over the years guiding ships safely through the rough waters. Each note card displays beautiful drawings of the Carolina lighthouses. The original drawings are done in colored pencil and then reproduced onto the note cards. Boxed set contains ten assorted original lighthouse note cards with envelopes.
