Michigan Coasters and Decanter

These beautiful Hand Painted Decanter and Coaster Sets are made by Roger Ensign, owner of Sunset Wineworks. The various designs include Michigan and the Great Lakes as well as sports and made-to-order. The unique designs on the Coaster Sets are painted on Travertine Stone with a cork backing. No two coasters are identical as each coaster is hand painted. The set of four coasters weigh approximately two pounds and each travertine coaster measures 4 x 4. Personalization and a variety of color schemes are available upon request.
Travertine is a natural stone deposited by geothermal heated hot springs. It is considered to be a type of limestone which forms due to rapid precipitation of calcium carbonate, hence, it is found around mineral spring deposits. When minerals dissolve in the groundwater then get moved by natural springs and rise above the ground, travertine is created. Travertine is very durable being water and moisture resistant. All you need to do is to give them a good care and maintain properly.

Also available are matching hand painted Decanters. The decanters are hand made and hand painted on a stone texture glass decanter. No two decanters will be identical as each decanter is hand painted and unique. The decanter measures approximately 12″ x 4″. Decanting helps the wine to open up. A typical reason to decant is to aerate the wine. Many young wines can be tight or closed on the nose or palate. As the wine is slowly poured from the bottle to the decanter it takes in oxygen, which helps open up the aromas and flavors.

Paul works as a Prototype Engineer and has a degree in Manufacturing Engineering. He presented his wife with two beautifully handcrafted copper landscape lights as a wedding gift in 2003. These sculpted art pieces have graced their koi pond and have aged so elegantly throughout the years, they decided to craft a version of those lights for others to enjoy.
They now have a son and daughter who help where they can in their family business. Whether it is cutting out the copper circles or washing the finished product, they are a huge help while learning a valuable lesson in how to run a small business.
The Mushroom Cap Copper LED Landscape Lights are individually hand forged and crafted. These beautiful solid copper sculpted art pieces will grace your landscape for years to come.
