Rachel Tindall of Mason, Michigan is the owner of Tindall’s Tavern Handcrafted Goods. Rachel started making soap in 2001 and no longer buys a bar of soap from the store. She loves the creamy lather that you get from homemade bars plus there are not any harsh chemicals. She gave away her soap to friends and family and has begun selling her products. Rachel considers it a great opportunity to be able to do something that she really enjoys. Rachel has always liked experimenting in the kitchen with food recipes so she really enjoys coming up with different soap recipes and other body care recipes.
Rachel’s soap batches are made from scratch in 2-5 pound batches using the cold process method, poured into molds, hand cut, and cured for at least four weeks. There will be size and color variations since they are handcrafted. Now known as Tindalls Tavern Handcrafted Goods, Rachel went from just making vegan soap to offering body care products such as body butters, shampoo bars, salves, and beard oil. Organic ingredients are incorporated whenever possible. Think of Tindall’s Tavern Vegan Bath & Body Products as “food for your skin”.
