Salt of the Earth began several years ago creating and developing all natural products for the home and body. As the owner DeAnn Keefer became more sensitive to conventional household cleaning products which contains chemicals, her search for a healthy environment began. DeAnn is also a Licensed Massage Therapist and noticed a lot of her clients that were very sick were allergic to similar products that she was. That is how Salt of the Earth had it’s beginnings. As a massage therapist, DeAnn was doing foot spas and other services so started creating all natural bath salts and body scrubs with 100% therapeutic grade oils and organic Himalayan salts. She then moved on to making all natural laundry detergent as she was getting request from parents that were going back to the all natural ways of using cloth diapers on their babies. With the development of several other all natural cleaning products and natural body products, DeAnn has disposed of every chemically induced item in her home and replaced with all natural products. DeAnn’s Salt of the Earth logo not only represents something very biblical, there is also a lotus at the bottom which represents being grounded and resilient.
