Caroline grew up in Michigan and has always loved visiting the Great Lakes, especially Lake Michigan. She has many fond memories of time spent on the beach, skipping stones, body surfing in the waves, and collecting rocks and beach glass. Caroline would always get so excited to find a unique rock or piece of beach glass, because it felt like she was an explorer finding treasure! Today, she still loves spending time near the water and collecting treasures whenever she can. Caroline’s hobby of jewelry making took a new turn when her dad gave her his old Dremel drill and she learned how to drill holes in stone and glass. Caroline uses drilling, wire-wrapping, image transfers, and industrial strength adhesive to make one-of-a-kind Great Lakes Rock Jewelry.
